Beastie Boys' Ad-Rock To Star in Noah Baumbach's While We're Young

So, Adam Horovitz, aka Ad-Rock from the Beastie Boys, is an actor. Who knew? Turns out he starred in a late-'80s film called Lost Angels (which you can watch in its entirety here), as well as A Kiss Before Dying (1991), Roadside Prophets (1992) and a bunch of short films.

After scoring a documentary for the New York Times last fall, Horovitz is set to deepen his involvement in the film universe by starring in indie director Noah Baumbach's next feature, While We're Young, which follows an uptight documentary filmmaker and his wife as their lives loosen up after they befriend a free-spirited younger couple.

Ad-Rock will appear in a supporting role alongside Ben Stiller, Adam Driver, Naomi Watts and Amanda Seyfried. He will play the friend of Stiller and Watts' characters.

There's no release date just yet, so in the meantime how about tasting Ad-Rock's fine acting skills in the aforementioned '80s film Lost Angels
