Wim Wenders' 3D Film 'Every Thing Will Be Fine' Goes into Production

Following his 3D film Pina, Wim Wenders is embracing three dimensions once again with Every Thing Will Be Fine, a drama starring James Franco, Sarah Polley and Charlotte Gainsbourg. Needless to say this, along with Darren Aronofsky's Noah, is a film we're greatly anticipating next year.

The legendary director of Paris, Texas and Wings of Desire is now in Montreal where his film has just gone into production. Here's the official synopsis:

Based on an original script by the Norwegian Bjørn Olaf Johannessen, 'Every Thing Will Be Fine' tells the story of Tomas (James Franco), a writer who loses control of his life after a car accident.  Even though he is not directly at fault, his relationship with his girlfriend breaks down because of this event and his life and work suddenly set off in a completely new direction. The film follows Tomas over a period of 12 years and tells an intimate story of guilt and the search for forgiveness.

Gaspar Noé's regular cinematographer Benoit Debie (Irreversible, Enter The Void, and recently Harmony Korine's Spring Breakers) will be the director of photography.

Every Thing Will Be Fine will be released in Canada in 2014, via Warner Bros. and Mongrel Media. In the meantime, hear Wenders' thoughts on 3D and Pina below in a little clip, via Sundance Now...
