Mathew Sawyer’s first solo exhibition with at the Maria Stenfors gallery in London is happening right now, and it looks like fun, and it also looks funny, which is a rare thing in the fine art world. Check out some of his work above.

Mathew Sawyer graduated from The Royal College of Art in 2002 and lives and works in London. Notable solo exhibitions include: Spacex, 2014; Rokeby Gallery, 2011; Swallow Street, curated by Sarah McCrory, 2009; Galleria Sonia Rosso, Italy, 2008 and 2005 and Jack Hanley Gallery, USA, 2005. Sawyer has also been included in the Serpentine Gallery Map Marathon, as well as shown at White Columns, New York, The Prague Biennial, The Whitechapel, The Approach, Lisson, The Royal Festival Hall, London and Kunstmuseum Luzern.

Mathew Sawyer will be doing a musical performance in the gallery on Friday 13 February from 7pm, he'll play songs that probably sound a bit like this one:

Mathew Sawyer - How To Work

Hear some more of Mathew's songs here, and check out his exhibiton before the 21st of February, which is when it closes, obviously.
