In our Show and Tell series we ask some of our favourite artists to answer questions without using any words - instead using their talent for conveying ideas and emotions through their illustrations.
Here at Grolsch Canvas we love artists who stand out from the crowd, and one artist who really caught our eye is Maria Ines Gul. A visual artist with a background in both Fine Art and Graphic Design, Maria creates beautiful and charming illustrations with a style that is very much her own – as shown in her long-time contributions to Tavi Gevinson’s consistently brilliant Rookie Mag. We asked Maria to share some of her inspirations with us through her illustrations, and she certainly didn’t disappoint.
