In our Show and Tell series we ask some of our favourite artists to answer some questions without using any words - instead using their talent for conveying ideas and emotions through their illustrations.
When we first came across Tokyo-based illustrator and creative director Tatsushi Eto's beautiful illustrations on his Instagram we immediately fell in love. Tatsushi specialises in drawing people, making patterns and creating illustrative letterings, and his clever and detailed work is full of charm, colour and an unbelievable amount of skill. We asked Tatsushi to tell us about his work, his life and his inspirations, and he replied with illustrations that are sweet, interesting and absolutely beautiful.
Hi Tatsushi. Can you draw us a self portrait?
What inspires you to draw?
Can you show us where you work?
What do you like to do in your spare time?
What is something you can't live without?
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
